Context

This project focused on localising a personalised beauty and skincare app and its supporting website for the Italian market. The app combines device guidance, skin analysis, personalised routines, and educational content, while the website provides product information for cosmetics and beauty devices.

The work covered UI strings, onboarding flows, routine descriptions, and educational articles, all requiring a consistent yet approachable tone.

Challenge

Strict character limits shaped much of the app localisation. The German source relied on abbreviations without Italian equivalents, requiring careful rephrasing within limited space.

Italian regulations around cosmetic and health claims added further complexity, as the content needed to remain compliant while still sounding credible and natural.
