I’m an Italian native speaker working with English, French, Spanish, German, and Swedish. I’m based in Italy (GMT+1), where I work as a VAT-registered professional. I’ve also spent extended periods living abroad, which deepened my understanding of how culture shapes communication.

I’ve been working with multilingual and digital content for over 15 years, both in-house and as an independent professional. My work focuses on collaborating with agencies, brands and individuals to ensure their digital products and platforms communicate clearly and feel intuitive to the people who use them.

My academic background combines languages and IT, with a strong foundation in literature, linguistics, and specialised translation. After my degree studies, I completed postgraduate training in localisation, technical translation, and digital communication. I continue to update my skills through courses closely linked to my areas of focus.

I also stay connected to professional communities to keep up with evolving standards and best practices. I’m a qualified member of AITI and the ProZ Pro Network, and I contribute pro bono to organisations such as Translators Without Borders and Coursera.

I work with multilingual online content at different stages—from adapting it for new markets, to refining structure and tone, to reviewing how it behaves inside real interfaces. My focus is on ensuring that what I produce feels natural and fully integrated into the product it belongs to.

In practice, that might mean localising a website, improving the flow of a blog article, adapting marketing copy, or aligning terminology. Over the years, I’ve worked across a range of sectors, but I specialise in digital-first industries such as IT, gaming, and e-commerce.

I started gaming by fighting aliens in Commander Keen, armed with nothing but a stunner gun… and a pogo stick. Later, in RPGs like Final Fantasy VII, I had to arm myself with a hefty dictionary. Localisation options were quite limited back then! And many games were only available in English.

In my early teens, what began as a passion for games gradually evolved into a broader fascination with technology. I began creating (and occasionally breaking) websites in HTML 4.0, jumping from one tutorial to the next and figuring things out as I went.

When I’m not working with words or screens, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my pets or practising sports such as running and trekking. Time away from the desk helps me reset and return with a fresh perspective.
